Petey Piranha

Petey Piranha is the boss of the World 5 Castle. He is a Piranha Plant, hence the name. He attacks by flying up, then falling from the sky, defeating any enemies beneath him, including Mario, similar to the Ground Pound. Because the fight with Mario is on an ice platform, after attacking he will slip on it. Then Mario must jump on him three times to defeat him.

He is the only Piranha Plant in game that can be jumped on.
If you defeat him using a Mini Mushroom, you would travel to World 7 instead of World 6.
